What we do
TIPS brings together attendees from all over the world to discuss the latest in scientific and clinical research around digital health and technology in psychiatry, as well as the ethical, policy, and regulatory implications facing psychiatry today. This includes content from translational neuroscience, computational research, clinical implementation, and industry scaling/development of treatments – all utilizing tools such as wearables, online assessments, virtual reality, internet-based therapies, passive sensing, deep phenotyping, and artificial intelligence. When attending TIPS, you can expect to join academics, clinicians, industry professionals, policy makers, patient advocates, and more – all coming together to share their knowledge and unique perspectives to solve many of mental health’s greatest problems.

The 2024 Technology in Psychiatry Summit, hosted by McLean’s Institute for Technology in Psychiatry, is taking place as a 1-day meeting on Saturday, December 7th in Phoenix, Arizona (ahead of the annual American College of Neuropsychopharmacology meeting). TIPS dives deep into the intersection of technology/digital health and psychiatry – with topics ranging from translational neuroscience to clinical implementation and industry collaborations – while hosting exciting keynotes and informative symposia/workshops. It’s a great place to network and connect with experts in the community and other like-minded stakeholders.
